LinguaFlow is a modern, lightweight, and AI-powered multilingual translation plugin for WordPress. It is designed to integrate seamlessly with your page builders (Elementor, Oxygen, Divi) without slowing down your database.

Quick Note: LinguaFlow uses OpenRouter to access top-tier AI models (like GPT-4o and DeepSeek). You only pay fractions of a cent per translation.

Installation & Setup

Step 1: Get your API Key

Go to openrouter.ai, create an account, and generate an API Key. Add a small balance (e.g., $5) to your account.

Step 2: Configure LinguaFlow

In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to LinguaFlow → Settings → AI Translation. Paste your API key, choose your preferred AI model (we recommend DeepSeek V4.1 Flash for the best value), and click Save.

Step 3: Run Your First Translation

Go to the Dashboard. Click Run Capture Batch (this extracts text for free). Once complete, click Run Translation Batch to start translating.

⚡ Quick Translate

Paste any text or URL into the box. The AI will auto-detect the language, and you can translate it into any language instantly. You can even override the global "Tone" (e.g., switch to Marketing tone) for a single translation.

Upload an image (screenshot, infographic). The AI Vision model will read the text from the image and allow you to translate it instantly.

📖 Glossary

Tell the AI how to translate specific terms. For example, force the AI to always translate "Apple" as "تفاحة". The AI will strictly follow these rules.

🎭 AI Tone & Style

Change the personality of the translation. Go to Settings → AI Translation and choose from: Formal, Marketing, Casual, Technical, or Friendly.

The Visual Editor

Want to fix a translation on the fly? LinguaFlow has a built-in visual editor.

  • Log in as an Admin and visit any page on your website.
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + E on your keyboard.
  • Hover over any text. A dashed box will appear.
  • Click the text to open a popup. Enter your custom translation and click Save.
  • (Pro users can also click the "Auto" button to translate just that single string using AI).

SEO & Sitemaps (Pro)

LinguaFlow Pro is built for SEO. It generates dedicated XML Sitemaps for every language (e.g., yoursite.com/sitemap-ar.xml) with hreflang tags.

You can also translate your URL slugs (e.g., change /ar/about-us/ to /ar/من-نحن/) directly from the Pro Tools → XML Sitemaps tab.

Important: If your translated URLs or Sitemaps return a 404 error, go to Settings → Advanced and click Rebuild URL Rules once.

Troubleshooting

Translations are not appearing?

  • Make sure you clicked "Run Capture Batch" first, followed by "Run Translation Batch".
  • Check that your OpenRouter API key is valid and you have a positive balance.
  • Go to Settings → Advanced and click "Flush Caches".

License activation failed?

  • Ensure the domain you are using matches the one registered in your license server.
  • Check if you have reached the maximum number of allowed sites for your license key.
